The app ChecktheBack!, developed by MobileDev99, aims to address this serious issue by serving as a safeguard for caregivers.

Upon completing a drive, ChecktheBack! sends a notification to your iPhone and/or Apple Watch, prompting you to inspect the rear seat of your vehicle. This notification includes a photo uploaded by the user, enhancing memory recall regarding the precious occupants. To further ensure that the user does not overlook this reminder, a second notification is dispatched two minutes after the initial alert. The application also supports the integration of widgets on home screens, Today View, and lock screens, providing constant reminders to check the back seat.
